Now with my Letter Head finalised it seems only right
to create a suitable Envelope to put it in. So i set out
on the challenge to create an envelope both
visually stunning and well thought of.
I started off creating my own Net, being purely original.
I then planned the possibility of having a form of
decoration on the inside to make my envelope far
more interesting and professional.
After making examples of this envelope and testing its accessibility by placing a letter head inside of it, i have gradually altered my Net.
On the next step to altering my NET i thoughout about a
RETRO way of reusing a traditional method of a SEAL.
So i sourced this image online and adapted the idea of using
my logo as a ‘sticker’ to bind the folds of the envelope
together.
I decided to change the inside colour to dark red (as seen in
my logo) i also added a cut away to the inside of my envelope,
similar to the cut away seen in my business card holder,
giving the same effect being able to get my letter in and out
easily.
With the colour on my NET displayed above i noticed the
outside of my envelope was left plain and was also
considerably tedious to print the customers name and
address on, so i came up with printing this small tag to
attach to the front. I kept a common font used on my
letter head and also kept an occurring use of the Dotted
RETRO lines and RED colours
